Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour

ABOUT SSI

SSI is a family-owned construction company located on Sycamore St. in downtown Buffalo, NY. We design, bid and install medical projects, industrial projects and other construction jobs. We have very specific jobs that we perform and don't do general construction. We travel 30% of the time to job sites. The projects are mostly in NY but some in the Northeast. We almost never work more than 3 days in one location and come home every weekend. If the job is out of town, we pay per diem and travel time.

ARE YOU A GOOD FIT?

We are looking for someone who is motivated to do quality work, can read plans & drawings, is a hard worker, and has no trouble working at heights. Do have a willingness to learn and be a team player? You will take ownership of your projects but work as a team. An honest hard worker will grow at Strut Systems Installation.

REQUIREMENTS

If you think you are a good fit and you meet the following requirements, apply today!

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction
• Effective use of time spent in office estimating
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects and construction managers
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations and other legal requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation
• Report to work on time and be willing to travel
